Having a lovable or great personality is a master key to opening many doors in life. The only constant thing in life is change and as human, we often aspire to attain greater heights. Therefore, we place our focus on how to achieve all of these things that we forget to improve on ourselves. This article will help us saddle through becoming a better version of us.

As a matter of fact, self-improvement should not come on your list only when people complain about you. That is, don’t be a bad person before you see the relevance of having great personality. However, that you are nice or loved by the people around you doesn’t imply that striving to have great personality isn’t applicable to you.
Having great personality
Actually, it is important to know that our life needs as much attention as we give to our desires. More so, as long as you are still living, there is need to improve on great personality. Below are ways to have or better our great personality;
1. Be Patient with Yourself
Having great personality is not a day’s job, it is a process that can last a lifetime. Although, it happens faster for some and slow for others. You need to be very patient and take each day as it comes. There is no need to put pressure on yourself because you want to be better. Don’t beat yourself up when things don’t happen the way you want them to happen. Just understand that it is not always your fault neither can you please the whole world. Work on yourself at your own pace, be patient with yourself and things will fall into place.
2. Learn to Take Corrections
One of the many ways to having great personality is by working on your negative traits. There are negative traits and positive traits. A positive trait to you is possibly negative to someone else. Hence, take corrections in good fate when they are passed to you. Also, be willing and ready to make amends where necessary to kick-start the journey to having great personality. On the contrary, the opinions of other people should not define you.
3. Be Quick to Forgive
Hurt is too much of a cross for anyone to carry around. It is a slow poison that will eat you up without you realizing it. Truly, forgiving people who hurt you can be very difficult, but it is more beneficial to you than those who hurt you. For this reason, be quick to forgive instead of holding it against them. To better your great personality, reflect on your past and forgive those who hurt you. Consequently, seek forgiveness from those you might have hurt. Above all, be willing to move on without holding on to grudge and forgive those who will still hurt you.
4. Be a Role Model
The best way to have a great personality is to be a role model to others. That is, you should serve as an example to others and practice what you preach. In being a role model, remember it’s not about making yourself into someone you’re not. Rather, it is about being true to yourself.

Developing a great personalty that is worthy of a role model comes with lot of hard work and consistency. Anything that is worth doing at all, is worth doing well. Why everybody can’t be a role model is the inability to put in the extra effort even when its not convenient. Therefore, take is slow and don’t be hard on yourself.
